Screen Media Films ha rilasciato il trailer ufficiale di Willy’s Wonderland con Nicolas Cage nel film horror in arrivo il 12 febbraio.
Willy’s Wonderland (precedentemente intitolato Wally’s Wonderworld) segue la storia di un tranquillo vagabondo che viene ingannato per un lavoro di pulizie nel parco divertimenti maledetto, chiamato Wally’s Wonderland, in occasione della sua riapertura. Tuttavia, le cose peggiorano quando si ritrova a lottare per la sua sopravvivenza e si rende conto di essere intrappolato in un incubo vivente popolato da animatronics posseduti da demoni.
Oltre al vincitore dell’Oscar Nicolas Cage (Leaving Las Vegas, Mandy), il film sarà interpretato anche da Emily Tosta (Party of Five, Mayans MC), Beth Grant (No Country for Old Men), Ric Reitz (The Resident) e Chris Warner (Machete). Wally’s Wonderworld sarà diretto da Kevin Lewis (The Drop) su una sceneggiatura di G.O. Parsons. Landmark Studio Group ha aderito al progetto per produrre insieme a Landafar Entertainment, JD Entertainment, Saturn Films e Screen Media Ventures, con il supporto di Baffin Media Limited e Great Point Media.
Il CEO di Landmark David Ozer (Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, Wynonna Earp), Grant Cramer (Lone Survivor) e Jeremy Davis (The Street Racer) sono chiamati a produrre il progetto insieme a Cage e Mike Nilon, con il presidente di Foresight Mark Damon, Screen Media Ventures Il presidente David Fannon e l’SVP di Worldwide Acquisitions Seth Needle sono produttori esecutivi.
